We would love to offer you the opportunity to bring your school to our farm.  We host school groups Monday through Friday from October to early November during our 2016 season.  We are just a short drive from anywhere in West Tennessee or West Kentucky.  For your $7 admission fee you get:

  • to visit a local, working farm
  • enjoy a snack of free popcorn and a drink
  • experience fun and exciting lessons in science, history and agriculture
  • visit our petting zoo with our friendly farm animals
  • walk (or run) through our hay mazes
  • play on the playground
  • have lunch in the covered pavilion
  • take a hay ride around the farm
  • AND pick out your very own pumpkin from the patch!

We have several different educational stations set up to not only teach your students, but to give them a "hands on" learning experience.  We have put together a curriculum that is fun and entertaining, but also educational and informative for students and adults alike.  Our stations are geared towards Pre-K through 4th grade students, but can be altered to fit any school group's needs.

A few of the state standards that will be taught on the farm include:

  • food production and the life cycle of animals
  • agriculture practices throughout the history of the United States
  • ecosystems-wildlife and forestry
  • plants, soil, roots, and plant systems

Please let us know if you have any questions or would like any more specific information about our farm.  We would love to see you and your school group this fall!

What a wonderful experience me and my class had at your farm.  It was a fun and informative day!  Thank you!  -A teacher from Mckenzie 1st grade
